Russian-Slovak Scientific Cooperation
 The history of the successful cooperation between Russian and Slovak scientists working in the fields of laser physics and nonlinear optics dates back to eighties. Based on this cooperation, Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Ministry of Education of the Slovak Republic signed a Treaty on establishing the International Laser Center of Bratislava in Bratislava on April 29, 1997.
